The transfer unit for a machine for printing stiff paper, cardboard or plastic sheet comprises a transfer wheel (7) which passes individual sheets from a stack on a feeder to a second rotating wheel (12). This passes them to a system of reciprocating rods (13) which are controlled by it and on to an ejector (2) which passes them back to the transfer wheel for ejection.
