The leading end (13) of the bolt shaft (1) is shaped as a mixing tip in pick shape complete with integrated seal, flow and transport elements and is converted direct from the bolt material as part of the separation and lengthing process of the bolt. The tip is as wide as the bolt shaft or of slightly larger diameter and the bonding medium is optimally mixed in that it is metered by the seal and flow element back to secondary mixer blades on the bolt shaft. The job of the tip is to crush and mix single or multiple chamber cartridges of bonding medium and the tip is blunted at the outward end flanks to guard against injury. The wider tip design makes for thorough mixing and also centers the bolt in the hole.
