The method involves the use of patient files stored in a central database and containing the diagnostic systems used, the therapies and the progress of the illness. A search and assessment program for success-oriented statistical evaluation of all patient files for a defined illness or admission diagnosis is performed to determine the relevant use of the system. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for implementing the method.
