Contact arrangement for electrically contacting an electronic device to supply or control lines where the contacts are held in place by elastic force

The contact arrangement connects an electronic device such as a control device or a sensor to electric supply or control lines which are formed as conductive tracks (11) formed on a plastic substrate (22). A socket part (16) made of insulating plastic is provided. This defines a region inside of which the conductive tracks are uninsulated. This region is electrically insulated and gas and fluid tight relative to the outer region of the plastic part where the tracks are embedded in an electrically insulating material. A plug part (17) which can be inserted into the socket part in a defined orientation is provided. This has individual contacts each associated with one of the conductive tracks. The plug is fixed to the socket by force fitting locking elements (18, 19). When the plug and socket are connected together in use, the contact elements are pressed against the conductive tracks with a defined force and are held under an elastic tension.
