The method involves focusing several pulsed laser beams (1) into the object under investigation with the foci adjacent to other in a plane to stimulate emissions by non-linear effects. Each point of the surface under investigation lies in the stimulation volume (2) of at least one laser beam and the laser beams pass through the object with a time delay that prevents interference in the object. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for stimulation of radiation emissions in plane of 3D object.
