The method involves removing a quantity of electrically loaded oil at intervals and feeding in a quantity of fresh oil with the required electrical strength under pressure and mixing the fresh oil with the electrically loaded oil in the high voltage device (1). The quantity of extracted oil is limited by an equalizing container volume and extracted oil is regenerated. Independent claims are also included for an arrangement for implementing the method and a device for treating electrically loaded oil.
