The weighing device has a wind protection screen enclosing the weighing pan (2) and a device for providing an ionised air stream for electrostatic charging of the weighed material, using a fan (8) incorporated in an air channel (7) between a suction opening (9) for extracting air from the weighing space and a discharge opening (10) for supplying air to the weighing space.
