Sealable, transparent, multilayer film comprising (a) a sealable layer, (b) biaxially oriented polypropylene base layer and (c) propylene homo- or co-polymer separated from (g) a sealing layer of metallocene-polyethylene by a sequence of (d) bonding layer (BL), (e) barrier layer of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and (f) BL or of (d') BL and (e'/f') two layers of polyethylene. Sealable, transparent multilayer film with the following layer sequence: (a) a sealable outer layer, (b) a base layer of biaxially oriented polypropylene (bo PP), (c) a layer of propylene homo- or co-polymer, (s) a sequence of 3 layers and (g) a sealable sealing layer of polyethylene (PE) made with the aid of a metallocene catalyst. Sequence (s) comprises either (d) a layer of bonding agent, (e) a barrier layer of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and (f) a layer of bonding agent, or (d') a layer of bonding agent, (e') a layer of PE and (f') another layer of PE. An Independent claim is also included for bag packaging made from this film.
