A flashing lamp which is integrated in the outside mirror housing of a car below a transparent cover, is described. At least one flashing lamp element (3) is placed on the outside edge (20) of the outside mirror housing and the cover (10) is designed there so that at least one part of the corresponding light is radiated sideways behind to the vehicle body. The cover works as an optic fibre at least in the region of the outside edge. The flashing lamp element is arranged on a curved carrier, or one that is able to be curved around the outside edge of the outside mirror housing.
