A procedure for the lacquering of a body part, especially a vehicle body part, with a plastic inner part arranged on a non-visible side of the body part has the plastic inner part mounted on the body part and subsequently a visible side of the body part is lacquered. The plastic inner part is tempered before its assembly. The tempering takes place at a temperature greater than a lacquering and/or drying temperature. The tempering is executed at a temperature that lies about 5 to 20%, especially about 10 to 15% above the lacquering and/or drying temperature. The tempering is executed at a temperature of about 160 deg.C.
