Power efficient amplifier circuit and method for power efficient signal amplification employing parallel amplification by two amplifiers with negative feedback

A signal (Vin) with an ac component is amplified in parallel by two amplifiers with negative feedback. Between the signal input of the first (OPV1) and the second (OPV2) a further amplifier (A) is connected. The resultant signals are combined through eg resistance or capacitor loads, to provide a weighted addition to the output signals. The output signals which are combined are in phase but any distortions are out of phase and cancel when the output signals are added.
