Film material made from insulating plastic has metal spikes (8); surfaces (2, 3) lying opposite each other; and passages (4) extending from one surface to the opposite surface and filled with needle point-shaped conical pins (5) or contacts (6) made from electrically conducting material. An Independent claim is also included for a process for the production of a film material. Preferred Features: The film material is 10-400, preferably 20-300 mu m thick. The needle point-shaped conical pins or contacts have a diameter of 1-5 mu m in the foot region.
