Method for determining the surface properties of a linearly focussed mirror with a radiation absorption pipe arranged along the focal line of the collector for heating of water. Accordingly a target is arranged along the surface of the tube that allows the actual radiation distribution to be measured and compared with a theoretical distribution arising from an ideal mirror. An Independent claim is made for a device for determining the surface properties of a sunlight focussing collection mirror.
