The device is for lashing containers to the deck of a ship and comprises a tension component (10) with a screw thread spindle (12) on which a spindle nut (13) engages. A counter bolt (19) is radially fixed to the spindle, which in the counter state prevents loosening of the spindle nut. It allows a longitudinal displacement of the screw thread spindle to the opposite outer end of the lashing device. The counter bolt is firmly set on the screw thread spindle in positive engagement and forced locking. The counter bolt has an outer screw thread engaged with an inner screw thread, with which it can be radially firmly screwed against the screw thread spindle.
