摘要

First and second data transfer elements (6, 7) read independent data channels when the tape moves past the read head (5). An alignment mechanism (9) acts mechanically on either the cassette in its opening and or a mounting mechanism. A control circuit acts in conjunction with the alignment mechanism and measures a difference between the two channel signals and minimizes the difference by adjusting the alignment mechanism.
