The method for making pipes from plastic strip uses connector studs (6a) mounted on a central strip which are inserted from the inside into holes along the edges of the strip after it has been bent into a circular shape. A locking plate (7a) which carries corresponding sleeves fits on to the ends of the studs on the outside of the pipe.
