Miniature fluid pump, where an assembly transports liquid or gaseous media in biological or chemical micro-processes, is new. The assembly has a guide housing (12) with an inlet and an outlet (30,32) to a cylinder (36) and magnetic piston (10) which moves back and forth under the influence of a surrounding coil (14,16) operated by a control unit (22) which reverses the magnetic field at intervals. Miniature fluid pump, where an assembly transports liquid or gaseous media in biological or chemical micro-processes, is new. The assembly has a guide housing (12) with an inlet and an outlet (30,32) to a cylinder (36) and magnetic piston (10) which moves back and forth under the influence of a surrounding coil (14,16) operated by a control unit (22) which reverses the magnetic field at intervals. The coil length is about double that of the piston.
