Sledge (10) has 2 shell halves (12,14) which are coupled together via a hinge device (16) and which form a closed sledge housing (20), which is rotationally symmetrical about a longitudinal axis (22), in the closed position. Outside of the sledge housing is provided with a number of equi-spaced sledge runners (40), extending in the longitudinal direction, which are curled inwards at either end against the rounded end face of the sledge housing.
