The assembly to set the lateral weight profile of paper uses diluting water for the pulp suspension, at a papermaking machine with a multiple-row stock inlet. The pulp distributor (1) has a number of part-flow channel sections, linked to a number of mixing units (6) with at least two angled inflows with axial symmetry. The part-flows are a multiple of the mixer inflows. A controlled feed channel (8), for diluting water, opens centrally between the two inflows. The axial outflow from the mixer is linked to mixture distributors (9) as a circular distributor. The control of the pulp suspension feed, to the stock inlet of a papermaking machine to set the lateral paper weight profile, uses a lateral or manifold distributor or a circular distributor. A deflection plate (10) has at least two symmetrical outflows, radially at the periphery of the plate, linked with the inflows (12) into the stock inlet through mixture section channels (11) for the adjacent and/or overlaid stock inlet inflows. The outlets (3) from the circular distributor are at an angle to the center plane of its ring channel (5), in a number of rows. The circular distributor has an overflow (2) with rotation symmetry. One or more parallel feed chambers (13) are at the stock inlet, between the inlet connections and the turbulence generators. The mixers and the mixture distributor form a one-piece component unit. The mixture distributor has a larger number of outflows than there are inflows into the mixing units.
