The spinning funnel (24) includes a central feed unit (59) with a section in the spinning bath (45). The fibers are spun and passed through the spinning bath, around the funnel. The funnel itself, supplies the spinning bath coagulant solution. An Independent claim is included for the method of making spun fibers from solution using the apparatus described. Preferred features: A section of the body (55) is located in the bath, the fibers being led through the bath around it. The body occupies the volume surrounded by the fibers in the bath region. The central solution feeder is part of the body and is formed by a region permeable to the solution. Solution passes through the feeder into the bath. The permeable region is a sieve. Within the body itself, the solution passes through a stilling chamber (119). This includes a device smoothing-out the flow. The body tapers in the spinning direction, being conical. Its outer surface is parallel to the fibers. Near the body, the bath has an annular cross section. A lower outlet (97) is preceded by a funnel section in the spinning bath, tapering towards the outlet. The funnel section is constructed by filler bodies (95a, 95b) in the spinning bath. Cross section of the bath tapers monotonically from the liquid surface to the outlet. The displacement body projects up above the surface of the bath. An associated spinning head and an assembly kit are also claimed.
