Tidal or water flow kinetic energy station uses pressure faces on swivel axes rocking onto endstops in radial planes between swivel and rotor axes to form underwater power generator
Tidal or water flow kinetic energy station uses pressure faces on swivel axes rocking onto endstops in radial planes between swivel and rotor axes to form underwater power generator
The pressure faces (4-7) move to and fro on the swivel axes (8) and encounter endstops (9) in the radial planes between swivel axes and rotor axis (19). Radially directed arms (21-24 and 31-34) towards the swivel axis on the ends of the pressure faces lie onto the ends of the rotor axis. The rotor axis stands vertical to form the rotor shaft of an underwater electric generator and the radially directed arms are designed as low-resistance flow profiles, here set at the generator endfaces and edgedly encircled by a wheel rim. The generator motors briefly provide the starting moment for the rotor.
