摘要
Wear protection layer consists of an agglomerated sintered tungsten carbide powder and a further metallic phase made from cobalt, nickel and chromium. The powder has an average diameter of less than 1 mu m and is applied by thermal spraying so that a metallic binding phase is formed as a ductile matrix, in which homogeneous and finely divided tungsten carbides are embedded. Preferred Features: The alloying amount in the tungsten carbides is at least 50 but not more than 98 wt.%. The binding phase is made from cobalt with up to 20 wt.% chromium. The powder additionally contains molybdenum.
