Production (M1) of continuous, asymmetric, printed sausage skins, is new. M1 comprises: (a) producing two strips (1, 2) of material with printing (3) and control symbols (4) at specified positions; (b) feeding the strips with printed sides facing each other from feed rollers; (c) detecting the positions of the control symbols and synchronizing the positions of the printing using the data produced; (d) measuring a specified length of each strip using the control symbols, cutting it off and fixing the sections together using connecting heads (8, 9) controlled to cut an asymmetric profile in each section and connect each section by gluing or sewing; and (e) turning the assembled tube inside-out so that the printing is on the outside.
