A method for working up (meth)acrylic acid in the presence of stabilizer(s) involves: (i) feeding an essentially (meth)acrylic acid-free, stabilizer-containing mixture arising from the work-up into a distillation apparatus; and (ii) recycling a stabilizer-containing low-boiling stream from this apparatus to the work-up process.
