A massaging roller (1) is moved along on a movable slide carriage (2) to and fro by an electric motor (4) via a compression device (3) under the back span. A vibration motor (5) provides a vibration onto the back span from below. The velocity, cycle, and path of the slide carriage are electronically controlled, as is the vibration motor. The control is automatic in accordance with stored or input patient's data.
