A carrier element (1) is provided on its surface with protruding closure elements (3) formed from plastics which is placed on the carrier element. The closure elements are formed in at least one area free of a shaping tool whereby the plastics is successively dropped through an applicator device. The applicator can have a nozzle (15) for applying the liquid plastics drops. The plastics can then be set by electromagnetic radiation or other energy supply.
