The bonnet consists of an upper plate and a connected stiffening structure of inner plate and frame. Deformation elements (6,7) are positioned at selected points on the inside of the upper plate (1) and/or on the stiffening structure (2). The elements deformation energy when under stress. Alternatively, the stiffening structure may be forms as a deformation element. The structure incorporates brackets (4,5), and the elements are located on the side of the brackets away from the bonnet. The elements contain stabilizer parts of e.g. plastic foam, to absorb pressure loads.
