The coupling for fire hose sections has a flange section (12) and a lining shell (13) with an inner section to fit into the end of the hose (1). The inner section carries a rotary outer section (5) with form locking coupling lugs (9). The hose is retained on the inner casing section (4) by a clamping sleeve (6) which tapers from the flange end.
