Clear view window for machine tools and monitors has ultrasound source whose force spins off particles

The glass pane forming the window is kept clear by using ultrasound to provide the force to spin off the particles. An ultrasound source is attached to the window so that the sound waves are brought as solid-borne sound into the glass pane. If insufficient fluid (e.g. rain) reaches the pane then another source of fluid can be sprayed onto the window to improve cleaning action.
