The data encoding method has the data stream provided by a data transmitter encoded usig a random key number associated with a spatial point (VP1), with the data transmitter supplying a data receiver, or a number of data receivers with relative position information for at least one line passing through the spatial point and at least one reference point (RB P11,RB P12,RB P13), used for extraction of the key number, for decoding the encoded data. An Independent claim for a device for data encoding in a communication system is also included.
