The assembly to apply a tire sealant, from a container (1), has at least one unit (2.1) to extract the sealant, fitted with at least one valve (12.1). In the assembly to apply a sealant to a tire, the valve is a single- or multiple-path type. The valve has an inlet (3) connected to a compressed air supply (6), and an outlet (4) with a link (8) to the tire (9). In an initial valve setting, the inlet and outlet are coupled together by a bypass, and the container is hermetically sealed. In a second valve setting, a connection is made between the inlet and the container, and between the container and the outlet. A container opening (10) or a rising tube, to extract the sealant from the container, is at the connection of the outlet and/or at the container. The valve is a rotating valve, slide valve or ball valve, which is switched manually and/or automatically. The valve inlet is connected directly to the compressed air supply, especially by a short air line (5) to a compressor. A temporary closing of the valve prevents sealant being extracted from the container, while the bypass gives a flow of compressed air through the inlet and outlet by the bypass, to the tire. A closure (14), and especially a foil, hermetically seals the container opening and/or at least one channel in the valve. The valve has at least one switch, and especially a switch lever or rotating switch, to move the valve in different position settings, projecting from a housing at the side, an end side, the cover or base, for a manual operation.
