Sheets in a sheet deliverer are passed over a stacking plate (9) and released, and a sheet stack (4) is formed on a stacking palette (8) on the plate, or a trolley. The stacking plate has a positioner unit for the trolley, and a guide rail on the underside of the trolley palette extends in direction of trolley movement and is associated with the stacking plate. The positioner unit consists of an aperture in the stacking plate and a plate in the aperture.
