The dowel fixture in structural parts made of hardening cast concrete involves a dowel templet fixed to the sheathing or mould so that the dowel body with a one-sided open cylindrical hollow space remaining in the structural part has a distance to the sheathing. After the hardening of the cast mass and the removal of the sheathing and dowel templet a fixture device, such as a screw, can be accommodated. The dowel body is so formed from plastic that the screw with its thread cuts into the dowel body. The dowel body has incisions and weakened formations in a longitudinal direction, so that when a screw is inserted bracing forces occur, which improve force transmission to the cast body.
