The rescue ladder, to recover people who have fallen through thin ice, has an inflatable multi-chamber structure (1) for the side bars of rubberized textile filaments, with an inner longitudinal stiffening (2), with a shape and geometry to give stability when under an inflation gas pressure, with the inflated rungs between them. A protective under layer (3) prevents damage through cuts and tears.
