A method of relocation of a mobile station (UE) in which the running of the mobile station and/or the transmission of data to be transferred to the mobile station can be handed over from the first radio network control device (S-UPS) to the second radio network control device (T-UPS). Data which arrives at the first control device S-UPS following a successful handover, or which is temporarily stored there, is communicated to a corresponding functionality of the second radio-network control device (T-UPS), by using a functionality of the first radio network control device (S-UPS), and then relayed from there to the mobile station (UE).
