Method in which conducting elements (5, 6) of the network are divided into segments carrying a fraction of the whole current through a conduction element. Electrical properties including self-induction and mutual induction are calculated to model partial impedance values. Calculation of the electrical properties of the whole conductor arrangement only considers the mutual induction and corresponding impedance of spatially near segments. Independent claims are included for: (1) a computer method for determining the electrical behavior of integrated high frequency coils comprising a series circuit of conductor sections; (2) a computer program for determining the electrical behavior of integrated high frequency coils.
