Device has several linearly-arranged photosensitive cells and two-part housing with carrier plate for movable scanner bridge and drive. Movable scanner bridge is open at one side at drive, or is closed and guided by friction bearing and supported against bottom of transparent face over friction surface. On end of scanner bridge opposite friction bearing guide is magnetic bearing, with magnetic strip fixed on carrier plate, in direction of movement of scanner bridge and corresponding magnetic plate fixed on scanner bridge bottom face.
