The packing machine comprises a feed unit for flat lying folding box blanks (7) and installed above a production feed unit and box transporting unit (20). The feed unit is constructed as a conveyor belt which is horizontally movable towards the production feed unit and folding box transporting unit. The feed belt is mounted on an auxiliary frame (39) which in its turn is movable on guides (48) which are installed on sidewalls of the packing machine housing (14).
