Polymer blend (I) comprises: (1) a continuous phase of polyolefin elastomer; and (2) a dispersed phase of polyester, polyester elastomer and/or active filler, in which the content of continuous phase (A) is 80-95 wt%. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) method for the production of the polymer blend (I), which comprises: (i) grafting a polyolefin elastomer with an organosilane; (ii) compounding the product with component(s) which form the dispersed phase (B); and (iii) optionally with a coupling agent; (2) method for the production of elastic filaments with an adjustable thermo-mechanical property profile by making (I) as above, by adding grafting and crosslinking agents to the ethylene-octene copolymer (phase A polymer) before and/or during compounding with the phase B component(s) to give a matrix-functionalised mixture which is then thermoplastically processed to filaments; and (3) elastic filaments produced from (I).
