Tomography image representation method allows variation in image representation for simulation of surgery

The image representation method uses volume data obtained from the examined patient, with alteration of the image representation for simulating the effect on the tissue of a variation in the volume data, e.g. for simulation of surgery. The simulation is effected for selected partial volume data, the remaining volume data being unaffected. An Independent claim for a tomography image representation device is also included.
