The method for simple and rapid installation of light-structured balconies on difficultly accessible buildings does not need motor-driven lifting apparatus and only requires little space. It can be enacted on old and new buildings with up to eight floors, with installation on a balcony tower (D), particularly on the rear side of buildings erected next to each other and which have a road or access path side. Lateral, outer vertical supports have insert connectors and consoles fixable to the frame support the balcony plate (9,10,11). Two-part wall fixtures are anchored to the building wall. Firstly, the two rear vertical supports (3) with the consoles are anchored to the building wall and then angular guide rails (7) are fixed vertically to the vertical supports, in which from below the balcony is drawn upwards, hanging vertically, by a draw cable (S) to the level of the appropriate floor. All vertically hanging balconies are fixed in the rear consoles by spring bolts. They are then pivoted outwards and screwed to the two front vertical supports.
