Radio frequency identity label, RFID, (1) for use with a data disk (2) such as a CD or DVD. The label comprises a support layer (3), on one side of which is mounted a RFID transponder (4) with a RFID chip (5) and an antenna (6). On the other side is a glue layer. The support layer is covered with a covering layer (9) of plastic film or similar. The support layer is off paper or some other such tearable material. The invention also relates to a corresponding data exchange medium such as a CD or DVD with a RFID label arranged around its centering hole (10).
