Table comprises a height-adjustable table plate (1) with a guide spar (2) and a table frame (5) with one or more table columns (6) in which the guide spars move in a vertical direction. The table columns have a spar holder (7) that can be extended outwards and acts with the spar in a telescopic manner. Thus the height of the table can be adjusted in two steps, first with the spar holder and then with the spar itself.
