A synchronization ring (22) is turnable relative to a transmission shaft (11) or parts, e.g. synchronization body (15) fastened to it non-turnable, from a neutral position for one direction of turning about a first turning angle, and for a different turning direction from the neutral position about a different second turning angle. The synchronization ring is moved relative to the synchronization body along an axis (16-16) and turned about that axis through first and second angle. A body defining stops is a sintered part.
