The device for the leading of pipes through a roof covering has a bottom section (1) with a fitting opening with a collar (3), and a top section (5) seated on the collar with overlap to carry away water. The bottom section is constructed as a roof tile, and the top section seats on the collar with form-locking. At least one cut-out (11) for a pipe is made in the collar and in the top section. The cut-out is predetermined by a design break point, so that the cut-out can be made to suit demand by breaking out along the break point. An Independent claim is included for a use for the device which may be for a solar heating system.
