The dual-condition-multiple-N calibration method uses 4,5, or 6 calibration circuits, each having a line element (1) of unknown length and a different symmetrical reciprocal obstacle network (2-5), connected one after the other in either order and provided as passive stripline circuits. The calibration circuits are contacted one after the other via switches for the calibration measurement.
