Height-adjustable hurdles for dog sports comprises hurdle boards in different heights provided on both sides with telescopic socket connections consisting of a square tube with a pin protruding downward out of the opening, two base supports which are preferably U-shaped bars arranged at 90 deg to the hurdle boards and having square tube sections for receiving the socket connections of the lowermost hurdle board, an upper edge border for each height without dangerous protruding parts, and three different upper edge borders consisting of a fixed border, a horizontally rotatable border and a 20 cm high softer border, e.g. brush bristles.
