The automatic purchasing system has a databank (1), in which subscriber data including the subscriber network address for a number of subscribers is stored, a search device (3) for searching for the required subscriber using search parameters provided by a user and a user dialogue system (2) for control of the automatic purchasing system by the user. The user dialogue system includes an automatic speech recognition device and a speech delivery device. An Independent claim for an operating method for an automatic purchasing system is also included.
