The device has first and second transmission units (10,12), each with a first significant shaft (11,13), and an intermediate shaft (14) with a pivot axis at an angle to the parallel significant shafts. The ends of the intermediate shaft are coupled to first and second significant shafts via first and second coupling connections. First and second deflector drives maintain the intermediate shaft ends in constant turning movement-dependent connection with the two shafts within a fixed transmission ratio.
