The sealing disc (12) has a large central aperture to accommodate a piston and the edge of the aperture forms an inward-facing sealing lip (25). The disc contains an internal reinforcement disc (24) and there are inner and outer axially-extending flanges (26,27) on the same side of the disc. These flanges are extended and tapered inward to form sealing lips (20,21).
